LANG CHAS SALADIN Same time next year As the last cool evenings of August usher in the golden days of September, I stop to remember four golfing buddies who would meet on one or two of the one hundred or more courses they played over 30+ years. The annual event became an opportunity to meet face to face and renew life-long friendships, exchange information regarding our ever changing and increasing families and to retell over and over again tales from years gone by. No matter how often they were told, these stories would bring laughter to your heart or a tear to your eye, or in some cases maybe both. With the loss of our friends the game came to an end, however, I believe because of who they were, anyone they touched is a much better person today. Gone but not forgotten. John Bond (Bondie)
